known for originating the role
of Simba in the 1997 Broadway
blockbuster The
Lion
King, actor/singer
Jason Raize also hosted
the television series Keeping
it Wild with Jason Raize,
recorded a solo album,
headlined a Disney Channel
concert special, and served as
a Goodwill Ambassador for the
United Nations Environment
Programme. Sadly, Jason ended
his life in February 2004 at
age 28. This site has
been online since 1998,
and I hope that it will

talented performer's life
